Seats on Letter series

On one tractor I have the regular seat that does'nt tip at all. It's very solid and a nice ride.
On another there is a two plate assembly about 6 inches square that flips the seat 45 degrees right and back. Nice solid ride. Have never seen any more of these.
The third tractor had the three panel assembly that fips the seat straight back. That ons is a poor design, you slide sideways, rock around and generally feel like a monkey trying to mate with a football.
Who made the two piece "flipper"?

Don't know who made them but I found some bushings ( I think for s/10 Blazer door hinges) that fit the pins good. I think I had to drill the holes just a hair bigger. Tightened it right up like new.

The three piece "flipper" will ride nice and solid IF you pay attention when you lower the seat back into position. Those individual pieces sort of "nest" into each other. If they won't "nest" something is bent, or the mounting bolts are in wrong.

I saw the way it nested when I restored the tractor. I bent and fitted every piece and rod.
I still didn't get a real firm ride so I eliminated the whole shebang. Tractor rarely sees daylight, let alone rain so I don't need the flip over feature anyway. If the tractor is outside I'm on it!

I know just what you mean, Gordo. I have two places (four holes) to weld and re-drill in order to have a seat that keeps from rocking, popping and snapping as I bounce along.....
