Tyres for W4 tractor

I want to fit new front tyres to a W4 I am restoring. My back tyres are in good condition and are 14.9 x 24
I wantn the front to work in with the existing back
Would the approprite tyre be 5.50 x 16 OR 600 x 16

Thanks for your help

I have 5:50 x 16 on front of my I-4 with 12 (13.6) x 24 rear and it sits level so 6:00 x 16 will probaly look right with the 13 (14.9 x 24 rears.

Thanks so much for your advice
I note that USA specs say 5.50 x 16 front and 13 x 26 for rear
Was there many W4's fitted with 13 x 26 on the back?

24" wheels were standard on early W-4's and 26" were standard on later. I don't know what year they changed but I would gurss late 1940's, but that is just a guess. My 1942 book shows standard as 5:50 x 16 front and 11.25 x 24 rear (change in designation to 12 then modern to 13.6). 6:00 x 16 and 12.75 (to 13 then 14.9) x 24 rear My 1952 book shows standard as 5:50 x 16 and 12 (13.6) x 26 rear. Options were 6:00 x 16 and 13 (14.9) x 26 rear.
