In the process of putting my H together from being totally taken apart, we got to the stage of re-assembling all the large chunks last night. Of course, a new clutch and pressure plate were part of the process. After bolting the entire tractor together into a rolling chassis, we figured out the clutch fingers weren"t adjusted correctly...so we split what we had just put together, and found that the new pressure plate fingers couldn"t be adjusted to the full height needed...after a trip to IH this morning, a new replacement was obtained and we were able to adjust it correctly...it is amazing how much difference a few parts of an inch makes on those fingers! So, if you ever put in a new one..check it out...they don"t have it set right from what I have seen! The picture is what it looked like just before we put it back together this morning...progress is slow sometimes!

Lawd, I dont' know how anybody can work in such a messy shop on such a dirty machine! ;8^)

I do REALLY like the way you hold the rear up with the hoist by coming over the rear. That's elegant, every bit as good as a splitting stand. Altogether, pretty work!

If it's not too much trouble, please keep the pictures coming as you go along.

Yeah...mom and dad got a new stove so the old one is waiting in the shop until it finds a new home...amazing how much stuff can find its way into the tractor den!

Keep it there!!!! Havin something to heat an entire part is nice to have (flywheel ring gear). If I ever get my own shop (not my dad's or father-in-law's) I am definetly going to put an oven in there, I would like to tinker with powder coating someday.
