What's the best hydraulic pressure I can expect out of a "rebuilt" stock pump on a Farmall 300? Is there an "accepted" method of getting more?

Other than seals, they can't be rebuilt, as the housing wears. I don't think you can increase the pressure. You can add a supplemental reservoir somewhere, or use the loader (if any) cylinders as a reservoir. I haven't heard any complaints about that pump, as long as it is for it's intended use.

About 1250 as is, it will die sooner if "adjusted" to 1500. JimN
