560 farmall teledepth valve

Hi guys on my 560 I took the valve stack off to put in new seals and when I reassembled it I didnt have the gears in the tel-a-depth valve timed right, (even after using an IT manual). I know this because the fast hitch came all the way up and would not go back down. Now I have broken gears inside the valve and need to replace them.

My questions are:
1) Who is the best place to look for this series of tractors for parts? I have tried a couple local guys with no luck.
2) After I find said gears is there a better way than by how the IT manual tells you to time it to get it right? I thought I did it right the first time but didn't.
3) Is it because these things hard to find that I am having no luck getting ahold of them. I have been even watching Ebay with no luck.

Any help would be appreciated as I would like to get this back together soon so I can start using it again.

No good ideas where you can locate the gears except salvage yards, but will add, you may have timed the gears correctly and got the lever (eiether side) on wrong and that will do what you described. On reassembly, I would not hook the linkage to the lever , and operate it by hand to see how hitch reacts in relation to positon of lever. Other choice, replace the teledepth valve with a regular valve, throw away all the linkages to the hitch and just raise and lower hitch as you would any other cyl, like previous models did.

A quick check to see if the gears are timmed correctly so that you don't ruin another set of gears is to look at the position of the center gear before you start the tractor. If the hydraulic spool is centered in the neutral position that center gear will be straight down and form a right angle to the spool. That is assuming the control lever is in the raise position when the hitch is all the way up or the control lever is in the down position when the hitch is all the way down. Do not start the tractor with the linkage disconnected.
