MDV on photo ads

Just to let everyone know the MDV on the photo ads was stuck at the auction where this guy bought it this last Tuesday. It was decent shape, but i tried to turn it over and it didnt budge. No cover over the exhaust and its been sitting out for a long time.

The same guy also stiffed a local tractor club auction with a bad check for about $4000.

Anyone who pays $13000 for that cobbled-up MDV is nuts, stuck or not. Do you remember what he paid for it??
 
yeah, it was like 2500-2700. There were a lot of good parts on it. They added onto the bottom of the drops on the rear with a custom made box. It was very well done and could probably be put back pretty easy. The front axle was done nice and could have also been put back by a quality fab shop. The front rims were very fixable, rear rims decent, tin decent and it was probably 90-95% complete.

But the can that was over the exhaust was rotted through, it had sat outside for many years in the Northwest, tires flat, and would have needed a complete overhaul to make it run right again.

I just felt like folks should know what they were buying. I wouldnt want to be the one misled and hosed buy the seller.
