cub gas tanks

i would aprecate some info on what to useto repair pin holes in bottom of gas tank
i have two cubs with the same problem

Check your local auto parts store for gas tank repair kits. Or a use little JB Weld and then consider having the tank cleaned and sealed.

Exactly what Big Dog said exept I'll add some to it. Gas tank sealers. Your local motorcycle shop should have a product called Kreem it coats and seals the inside of the tank POR-15 also makes one there are others out there also. The tank needs to be very clean on the inside for the sealers to work well.

I repair lots of motor cycle gas tanks and use por 15. it works very good. dont use kream it will come lose in a very short time. it just not very good. hope this helps. thanks bob

Sand the area clean down to bare metal and then get a fiberglass kit it will never leak again. If they are rusted thru you will need to seal the inside as there must be some rust that can plug the sediment screen. You can put a small standpipe on the sediment bowl inlet that will help keep the junk at the bottom of the tank from getting into the sediment bowl assy.
