I'm trying to identify a Zenith carb that came off of a mystery engine. The carb is part # 355486R91. Does anyone know what engine came with this carb?
 
Are you sure the last 3 digits aren't 485? If so it is a 67X7 for a Super A, and will work on others.
 
Overhead valve. The engine appears to be a C123, but I haven't pulled the head to verify the displacement. The engine was installed in my Super C, before I bought it, when the original engine ate the teeth off of the timing gears. Even though the replacement engine bolted up and worked, the block casting is different and doesn't match up perfectly to the tranny. It could be off of a harvester or combine, who knows?
 
55 baler??
the Hygrade carb kit book at work shows your carb number with a 55 baler. it is probably a c113 block. the Hygrade kit number is 1306. seems to be the same kit for nearly all the c113, 123, 135 engines with a zenith.

That is more or less the same info I found when I crossed the carb number, but I know for a fact that there at least 4 if not 5 different models of Zeniths used on those C 113 engines, and I also know for a fact that the different Zeniths DO NOT use the same kit.
 
In the Hygrade brand book, *a few* call for the same kit, i should have been more particular in my word choice. The Hygrade brand is aftermarket and likely a consolidated, basic kit.
