Just wondering if anyone has run across one of these at auction or for sale in general. I've got a pretty decent one here that I just would like to get a ball park figure on. No breaks or welds anywhere and a good point of the shank.

I have a single shank fast-hitch deep tillage implement. I don't really know what a sub soiler is or whether my piece fits the category. I assume a sub soiler is a type of chisel plow.

My plow does not trip. It has a shear pin. The shank is about 24" long and is made from 1" by 4" flat-bar. The leading edge is beveled like a knife. It has a wedge on the bottom that is shaped and positioned like a human foot but slightly smaller.

I think a paid $50 at an auction 15 years ago. Later, I saw another one go for the same price.

I have used mine for cutting tree roots prior to pulling stumps. I think you could also lay underground wire or small pipe with it.

If it is a McCormick no.2 subsoiler, I have seen a few around here go for $300.I have seen higher asking prices, but don't know if they got it.
