My tachometer has never read right on my 684 tractor. Recently, I bought a brand new tachometer and cable. That still didn't correct the problem.
It still only reads about 12 or 1300 RPM when the throttle is wide open. Something else is preventing it from reading right. Maybe something about where the cable goes in the block?? Any ideas would certainly be appreciated.
