Does anyone know what to do to make the water temp gauge on the dash quit flashing. The gas gauge flashes when you are low on duel but why would the temp gauge flash. It is certainly not low on water, I checked that. And since it flashes all the time, it can't be because of heat. This is the bar gauge I'm talking about. The book doesn't say a word about it and the dealer is clueless unless I want to bring the tractor in for big bucks. Any ideas?

This is a generic answer because I don't know your tractor.

However, that symptom is "usually" caused by a bad coolant level sensor at the radiator. Unplug the sensor and see if the flashing stops?

If it flashes all the time it is probably a sensor gone bad. Either the coolant level sensor or the temperature sensor. Or, it could be a problem with the wiring.

Unless you take it in to the dealer where they can diagnose the problem and fix the exact problem, you are stuck throwing parts at it until the light stops flashing. Start by replacing sensors and go from there.
