450D intake manifold

on the front of the intake manifold is a switch that turns on the ign. on gas and off when on deisel. Where can I find one?

Hi chuck I hope some one can come up with one for you but when I tried to find one for my W400D 4 years ago I was unable to find one so I rebuilt my one with hard plastic bar that i machined to original bakelite part shape and used fiber washers to insulate screws/terminals where they came through manifold.

A heavy duty microswitch should be able to be adapted for use. The motion from the rotating shaft opening the switch when the mag is to be on. Or closing the switch if a distributor. JimN

Contact www.joesexternal_link or by phone at 1-814-226-6214, Joe got several "discontinued" parts for my 450D a couple a years ago including many of the items needed for this switch.
It will be easier if you can supply him with the part numbers out of a parts catalog.
I can get the numbers for you, send my an e-mail with the parts you need. (I have a parts book, or you can get one from this sight or from external_link).
