10-20 engine mounts

On the rear engine mounts of my 1930 10-20 there are two threaded studs (about 1/2") sticking up. Don"t appear to have bolt heads on the bottom either. Are they alignment pins? Do they have to come out to remove the engine? If so, how do you get them out?

Yes they are alignment pins. they are made to thread a nut on and back out. some times they thread out and some times they just turn. you will have to get them out or you will break the casting raising the engine up. good luck

I ended up drilling them out on my W-30. On the bright side, they are pretty soft and drilled very easily.
