I'm trying to figure out exactly where the steering support shaft mounts to the frame on my farmall A (1940). I can't seem to locate a picture anywhere that shows what the mount point is. Mine has a plate welded on the bottom that makes it look like it is in the wrong spot.

Does anyone have a picture of an A that shows this detail? I'd greatly appreciate it.

The steering support is bolted to the top aft end of the bell housing just forward of the transmission. The support post also has the throttle control quadrant bolted to the upright portion of the post. Email if you have questions, Pete
