Before I went on vacation, I disconnected the jumper wire from the amp meter & retested everything. Batt ground to:

batt pos = light

post on sol & both wires individually = light

both wires & posts on amp meter = light

any of the 4 posts (clean) on the ign switch with key in any position = no light

any post on light switch = no light

big post on alt = light

both wire connectors on said post = light

#'s 1 & 2 posts on alt = light

wire between diode & alt = light

wire between diode & ign switch = no light

wire between ign switch & coil resistor = no light

These were my findings. What's my next step? Thanks - Mike

P.S. thresherman, I didn't find your email in the previous post. Could ya shoot it to me again please?

The ignition switch supply wire may be bad. Jump from the Load side of the amp meter, to the bat terminal of the ignition switch. (or just replace that wire.)It sould ahve bat voltage at the bat terminal all the time. JimN
