You guys missed an experience. I had the priviledge...a real priviledge...to hang around some young and bright interesting people at the rebuild of the F-20. To completely re-do this tractor in 2 days...I thought it was impossible. There were some very talented people there...the youngest of the crew...about 8 years old and he was good with a putty knife scraping grease off.....To see him smile from ear to ear when he got to ride the finished product around was worth the trip. (I think we were all kids for a little while today when we saw the tractor return from the paint shop)

It was an absolute honor to be able to participate in this project. I thank everyone involoved in this for thier time, talents and donations.

After the show ended on Friday, Cowman loaded this up and I had the task of painting it at C&G. We quickly finished this, just missing some storms that caused serious damage nearby.

The finished product is the result of many people each playing an important part. A project like this has never been tried before.

It was a honor to work with such a talnted group of guys.
And yes little JAKE was a great worker.
I would like to thank the Cowman for bringing this all to gather. Bill Geer

Tom it was pure pleasure working along side of you. I'm very honored to have worked with such great people. It pained me to leave all my new friends on Saturday. This project is something I will remember and cherish the rest of my life. Again thanks.

Yes, it was a great experience watching and helping you and all the others each with their own expertice get that project done, even for those of us who did just little parts it was still grreat to help. Heres to the Cowman for being the brains and organizer of the operation.

It was a great privelage to get to be part of this project and a wonderful time working with everyone and am proud to call you all friends. This will be something that i will never forget. Great job everyone.

Ken I can't thank you enough for helping us. I'm sure you could tell by my reaction when I learned you were painting "Puff".

I just gotta say thanx guys. I always knew it would be done. You are the bestest and I love you each and every one. I would never have attemtent this project except for the support of boarders, WI show staff, and all our sponsors. It was a collective effort that resulted in a collective masterpiece. And yes, the memories will live on for years.

Nice work guys! I can't believe that is the same tractor I saw on Friday.
Nebraska Cowman, I am certainly glad you have it now! However else was bidding on the machine certainly didn't deserve it!!!
How was the surface of the tractor prepped for paint? I saw a guy with a 4.5" grinder doing the motor. Is this how the entire tractor was derusted?
