I found one for 1200.00 asking price. The engine is stuck, the tin is excellent except paint, the tractor is complete, tires look like they would work with new tubes, its a 53. Any all opnions would be helpful.

Where is the tractor being kept, in a barn or fence row, If its kept in a barn its most likly going to be easy to get unstuck, where if its been kept outside with nothing over the exhaust it could be harder to work on- expect more damage

We took a farmall A that hadnt run in 30 years that was in a barn rocked it back and fourth in gear and then cleaned the carb and had a running tractor, it all depends on where its located and what it means to you, i would pay 1200 for it personally but that could just be because of where im located

Sounds decent from way out here...a large part of the situation depends on what your intended use is...show, fun, hay, plow, mow...etc...

Hey Pat Thanks foe the insight. The tracyor is outside and has been I feel your right about damage. But as you said You'd buy and I am going to. I just wanted some other tractor guys to tell me what they think. Thanks agian Steve

any time to help a fellow tractor man, start soaking those cylinders as soon as you get it, first thing you do when you get the tractor home is take the plugs out and spray them down with penetrating oil or what ever you prefer
