IH 350 Utility

Hello all, I have a 57 IH 350 Utility Gas tractor. I have noticed that some of these tractors came with the torque ampilfier. Mine currrent tractor does not have this option. Is there a way you can take a tractor that came from the factory without a T/A and put one on it?

Thanks for any advice.

Yes there is, but it might get costly. Best thing to do is find some guy or a salvage yard that has one with a T/A in it and trade out the complete clutch housings, guts and all. The only other thing you would need is the handle. One complication to this idea is whether or not both tractors have independent PTO.

What do you use the tractor for? is a T/A really right for what you do with the tractor, if you put one in you might as well have it rebuilt while you have the tractor split- and it can get very costly
