Super WD6 brakes

Opened up the brakes to service and clean them and there was oil in the drum. Is there a seal out and if so can I repair from the brake side or do I have to go inside the tranny to get to it? TIA

Todd - Assuming the SWD6 brakes are similar to those on the Super M the answer is yes.....the brake shaft bearing/seal retainer can be removed without going inside the transmission.

Note! In addition to the shaft seal there's an O-ring on the OD of the bearing retainer "nose" that should be checked and replaced if req'd.
