Can you replace the magnito in the C with a regular ignition distributor and coil system?

Requires a different switch and a little wirin' but not a difficult job at all. It'd be a good project, wouldn't take up more than part of a morning or afternoon.

Make sure when you decide to do this pull the cap off the mag & see where the rotor is pointing & make a sketch so you don't forget. THEN DON"T MOVE THE ENGINE. Point the rotor on the distributor to same position shown in your sketch and then install it. This way you won't need to bring No1 piston to TDC on the compression stroke.

Then you will need to run a hot to an ignition switch, then to your coil & if you're still using the 6 volt + ground on your battery the wire from the + terminal on the coil needs to go to the points. Hal
