Don't have my M apart yet to measure.I see in the parts books that a 400 or 450 piston takes a 1.00" wrist pin. Is my 46 M the same size?Don't see the M wristpin diameter listed.I am looking at maybe putting the 450 kit in the M. Thanks.

I know this may not help you much because it is not a definite answer, but I have an M with 450 sleeves in it. I remember measuring the wrist pin diameter when I was rebuilding it, and it seems to me that it was 1 1/16".

You won't know for sure what size they are until you get it apart. The rods should be the larger size but it is possible that it has been overhauled before and someone used pistons with the smaller pins. There are adapter bushings to use the larger rods with the smaller pins.

It is a steel bushing pressed into the rod and then there is the normal bushing inside of it that gets honed to fit the pin.
