I did'nt get a reply from my last post so I figured no Ideas or suggestions. The lift on the tractor would work a few times and then would stop. You could shut off the tractor let it set for a minute restart the tractor and the lift would work again. I had changed the oil and filter so I was thinking the worst. I started taking apart the tractor and found a SCREEN on the hyd. oil pickup. I cleaned it off and cleaned out what gunk I could reach and god bless my lift is working great. I have run it about 10 hours pulling the V rake and the lift and auxillary have not stopped. Figured I would let everyone know in case you hear of it again.

I guess my problem is, never heard of a 614. The english built tractors like a 674 etc have a transfer , lube pump with a screen on suction tube and if it is plugged you would get a problem like you describe as it maintains proper fluid levels in both main housing along with lubing. Main hyd pump draws fluid from one housing and lube pump from other. Fluid level will equalize after shut down. Subject has been covered several times before. Like I said, not familiar with a 614.

Ok, I'm not too old to learn. You have my curiosity up. Just what type of a machine is this 614. I readily admit I don't all the different equipment IH mfgd.

(quoted from post at 03:10:34 07/21/09) They made one I know of, I get that at the parts place too.

Hi Tony, was not sure if it was a B614 or not that you had.
Attached is photo of B614 that I took about a month ago.
