AXEL SEAL RELACEMENT

WHAT ARE THE STEPS TO REPLACING REAR AXEL SEAL ON A 1086? DOES IT TAKE A SPECAIL TOOL TO GET THE WHEEL OFF? NOT SURE HOW TO GET THAT WEDGE PULLED OFF AXEL.

There should be two "U" shaped pieces bolted on one of the wheels. That is the tool to get the wedge locks loose. The wedge bolt uses a 12 point socket to turn.

If the seal is leaking there is a very good chance that the bearings are loose. They are originally assembled in a preloaded condition. If they are loose you have bearing problems. Just changing the seal is not going to do you much good.
