M farmall 1944 oil change 8 quarts

yesterday, i put new fram oil filter & 8 quarts 10 w-30. we had oil drip out lower hole after cleaning but nothing from top. i was afraid to add more oil. the last time that oil was changed was long ago.we filled a 5 gal. pail 3/8+ full of old oil. i also just added antifreeze and water to raditor about 2 gallons.i have to change oil bath,trans. & power take off. anything else i should do.

An owner's Manual would be a wisw investment.

Add more oil until it runs out the upper test petcock. Run the engine to get the oil filter filled up & recheck the level.
A serviceman's guide and/or owner's manual will do wonders for your confidence and give you the information you are looking for.
