Please help I. D. these parts for me
1) Loader, The rams have a Number on them, 65209D R1. The drop bucket is missing and it has two tines with a cyclinder added to drop the load. Model # and does it have any resale value?
2) WFE I think it is a Heavy Duty IHC. One knee has been repaired and the horizontal tube is welded on one side. The rear attachment bracket had had alot of angle iron added to it. $$$
3) The label on the power steering actuator is not readable as far as a make or model. It has an old Ford pump providing the power to it. On each end of the label is a Yellow horse outline type logo. It appears to have alot of free play in it. Would it be rebuildable?
4) The spark plugs were removed when I got it. I put ATF in all four cyclinders. #1 has already drained down in to the oil pan. How long will it take to free up, if it is going to free up using the ATF?
Thank you
Steve

The WFE is Schwartz. Parts are still available at most tractor dealers.

The loader looks like a IH Model 33, but that is just a guess. $50 to $250 depending on condition.

Power Steering is a Char-Lynn. Not familiar with the horse logo so it might be a clone if there were any. Dunno if they can be rebuilt. I think they are now close to $600 new.

With the plugs out, you might own a field mouse condominium site. I would not count on your getting it unstuck without taking it apart

OH, and by the way, thanks for providing good pictures and descriptions. Most people seeking ID's don't bother with the essentials. Don't know how they expect to get good answers.

I think the WFE is a Speeco. It looks like the one on my F504 and I plan to buy a NEW Schwartz for it soon. My Speeco is about slap wore out and it will cost half what a new Schwartz runs to repair. But if Wardner says a Schwartz, then it may be one. He is more knowledgeable than I on equipment. I with my lonely opinion thinks it looks like a Speeco.

The loader? I do not know.

The engine will most likely require at least the head being removed. ATF and brake fluid are good penetrants as well as Aero Kroil or CRC Knocker Loose. I have also heard of filling ONE CYLINDER AT A TIME with diesel or kerosene and setting it on fire to heat and berak loose the rust... Never tried that one.

Good luck!

Charles, now that you mentioned it, I think you may be right about the Speeco. My 504 also has an aftermarket WFE that is similar to the picture. I've had the tractor for 20 years and I just barely remember the Speeco decal.

Not sure why I said Schwartz except that is usually the brand mentioned here on the forum. The front end is certainly not original to the tractor.

Yes, the widefront is a Speeco. The tie rods identify it. New parts are available for the Speeco just the same as for a Schwartz, but I can tell you that you won't buy very many replacement parts before you have nearly the price of a brand new, complete Schwartz widefront axle ready to install.
