gas and antifreeze in oil farmall m

we took the valve cover off and noticed gas and antifreeze on the lifters. what could cause this?

The lifters are down below in the cover behind the distributor. The things up top are rocker arms, push rods, and valves. (springs on valve stems are visible)
The Fuel is an unknown, Unless there is a bunch of fuel in the oil from leaving the tank valve on all the time, there should not be fuel there.
Antifreeze can be from a head gasket, a cracked cylinder, cracked head, or a bad core plug (Freeze plug is the wrong name). Putting about 7 PSI (MAX) in the radiator will show you the leak. You may need to take off the oil pan to find it, if it is not in the top end. JimN
