Perhaps this will help anyone else from making the same stupid mistake. I was baling away and no twine on one side. Checked twine box and sure enough, a tangle as one roll only had a few dozen feet left. Rethreaded and restarted. Mayhem. Every fifth bale missed. Sharpened Twine knife, adjusted knife timing etc, etc. No improvement. Turned out that when I pulled the tension plates apart to rethread twine I pulled both of them out and had the twine BEHIND both plates instead of between them. The sun was in my eyes is my excuse. I have been running this baler for many years and that is a first.
