Pneumatic Lift all

Have bought a lift all that was removed fron a 1944 Farmall A and want to install it on my A. Trouble is, I do not know how and where all the pulleys, valves and cylinders are bolted to the tractor. Have the lift-all Owners Manual and A service manual but none show how or where to bolt the pieces to the tractor. Is there a source for diagrams or pictures? Would this system operate by a 12 Volt air compressor? Have a cultivator on tractor now.

Your best source on this forum that I know of is a guy named Gene Bender. He has more than one of these units working on tractors he owns if I remember correctly. Look for an old post of his with e-mail open and send him a note. Be patient, he is a busy guy. Also, look in the archives of Red Power magazine for an issue with an article on these and order it. It was a couple years back but good article for reference.

A 12v compresser wont have enough flow to lift as it would take several minutes to get enough volume to operate the cycl. There arent any pulleys to make the system work. There are pulleys and a cable to make the cultivators work. Send an e-mail and i can give you my cell# I use them on the plow and cults on the A and B. some parts are no longer available.

I have the pneumatic "lift-all" manual but it doesn't show how to mount the big cylinder. It only shows the parts for the cylinder itself. Also have parts manual that shows same thing. It has nothing about the mounts for the cylinder.
