Hi all, on the early IH Farmall H & M wide fronts, there is a bushing or bushings in the center tube that seem to ben worn badly on a lot of them. Can these bushings and pin be purchased still? Where can they be purchased if they are available? Its worn pretty bad on Dad's H, and my Farmall M has a little wear in the bushings too.

Thanks

Andy: I bought the bushings at our local dealer here in Fergus Falls to install in my son's H with original widefront.
Part # 40084DA bushing, 2 required.
The pin (called a rod in parts book) is a retired #; have your local steel supplier cut one for you and just drill the pin hole needed.

Thanks Wayne! I would assume the bushings from the cast iron tube wide front and the steel tube fronts are the same, correct?

Thanks,
Andy

When you remove the pin check as it will be a different size where the bushings go and samller in between. Thats the way the pins are on the A series. The bushings shouldnt be that hard to replace and anyone with some brass and a lathe coule make them but you should be able to get new ones from anyone who handles that sort of stuff.
