Charlyn Power Steering

Have a Super M and trying to install the Charlyn power steering.Got the front pulley on but the fan will not allow me to install the pump.Is there anyway to space the fan out?It looks like I will have to trim the fan shroud also for the pump pulley. The pump bracket mounts on the outside governor bolts but puts the pulley into the fan blades.Read post from Bob M but cannot open his links to use his hydraulic method.Like to use the pump but how are you guys clearing the fan?Help!!!!!!

(quoted from post at 20:52:20 05/17/09) They are now owned by Eaton.

GOOGLE is your friend!
Only the torquemotor is supplied by Eaton CharLynn. Eaton makes pumps that would be compatable, but I don't think they were ever sold with the system. Pumps were usually GM (Saginaw). Brackets, hoses and pullies would also not be from CharLynn. (I'm retired from Eaton Hydraulics)
