Autolite 3116

It's a hotter plug that I would use for a tractor that is used for parades and pulling the grand kids around. If you are working it, or you have a new engine rebuild, I would then use the 386.

i use 3116 gapped from .030 to .050 it depends on the application. we use and pull well over a dozen of these old tractors [m thru 450] and it's the only plug that i have used for years.

The 3116 is a non-resistor plug. If your M still uses a magneto, then the non-resistor plug is exactly what you want along with solid copper core plug wires. If the M has been converted to a battery ignition distributer, then you can use the Autolite 386 or the hotter 388. I think the original gap specs are 0.025"
