farmall m leaking water around head bolt

I just started up my farmall m after rebuild. Seems to run fine , however, I see ati-freeze around head bolt (exhaust side). It seems to be coming up around the thread and pools on top of the nut. Hoping this is not as bad as I think. Need advice.

could either be leaking head gasket, leak around the head stud threads in the block or a cracked head. did ou have the head studs out of the block? did you put them back in and use a thread sealant on them?

Yes I removed the head bolts, but did not seal the bolts. Are the outside ones the only bolts that go through the water jackets?

Lower the coolant level below head.block line.
Remove only the bolt that leaks and put #2 permatex on the clean threads. Screw it back in place and torque to spec. Then run it. Do only those that leak. It may be a one pony show. JimN
