Hi Folks,
Looking for advice on a few books for IDing different IH tractors. I've built mufflers and exhaust parts for these for years but have winged it mainly on the IH tractors as Deere parts have been my primary. It would be real handy to have some referance material on hand that I could look up serial number breaks and sometimes actually see how a part looks on a tractor. ie; a bottom exhaust on a Cub.
Thanks, Steve Crum

The Complete history of International Harvester (out of print, but possible purchase on amazon, or E-bay. Libraries often have them. All of Guy Feys IH and Farmall books are great. (he frequents this forum) Barns and Noble, and other book stores have them in stock, or will order them. caseih.com is on line for thousands of tractors and machines/implements. JimN

Books and other referance material ie; CDs etc. are critical for seeing how an exhaust part is supposed to fit and look. As I stated The Farmall Cub seems to be the flavor of the year this year.
Thanks

MBI publishes a series of excellent books by Guy Fay, Ken Updike and others that cover pretty much the entire line of IHC tractors. One of Ken's in particular covers the entire run of the Cub.
