how manyfoot pounds to torque an f-20 head

couldsomeone help me out with haw many footpounds to torque an f-20 head and what to set the valves and spark plugs at? Thanks. jim

80-85 ft pounds

I torqued mine at 75 lbs. with no problems.Plugs are Autolite 3077 with gap at .28. Valves at .18 cold. I'm sure others have different specs, but this works for me.

F-20 head should be torqued to 90 ft lbs. The valves with warm engine shouuld be set to .009". Spark plug gap, .025".

ive always doen mine at 50 lbs, then go to 70 lbs, then finish with 95. start in the middle and work out.

VALAVE LASH IS ALWAYS SET HOT ON THESE ENGINES!!!! says so right in the IHC instruction book!!
