W12 engine block

I"m replacing cracked block on w12, have block from f12, being a farmall rookie, need acvice on how to remove oil pump drive shaft & gear, so I can swap out pump, cam & so on...need some help

what are you having problems with?that is such a simple little engine to work onthat i find it hard to believe that these questions get asked. i would say remove the oil pan and take alook in there and go to it.start stripping her down.when you get to bare block your done.

The oil pump comes out as one unit. Remove a couple of bolts and it will slide down. Most of the disassembly on these motors is pretty self evident. IF the crack is not too bad, I would try to fix the crack. My opinion only.

the pan is off, the bolts that hold the pump to the block are out, the pump housing will not budge, believe me.(later on after feeling like a wimp) The pump was rusted into the block, broke the pump housing while trying to drive it out of this simple engine. at least its out.
