Farmall B belly mower (sickle type)

My 92 year old father uses his Farmall B almost daily. He has a belly mower for it that he removed years ago and now wants to reattach. The only problem is he can't remember the details about how it hooks up and so far hasn't been able to figure it out. Can anybody supply details and possibly pictures? I know there must be some kind of manual out there.

IH never made a belly mounted sickle lower for a B. As far as I know, nobody else did either. So unless whoever adapted it to the tractor also wrote a manual, you probably aren't going to find one.

ernie, did your father ever own a Cub, A or Super A? At 92, he's probably forgotten more than any three of us know, and he may not be remembering which tractor he used the mower on very clearly.

There was a highway mower for the A. Maybe someone put that on a B.
