I am back. I have had so many projects going on and been real busy.

Going to Red Power later this month. Does anyone between NC and Wisconsin have any interesting projects I need to see?

After the Red Poswer then on to Oskosh for the national EEA annual air show. I suggest that if you are even remotely interested in Aviation the go just a little north of Madison and go to the show. Well worth it. An Eye popper. Do not plan to get accomidations near oskosh...stay in Madison and make a day trip. It usually is about $30.00 per head to get in.

And, if anyone up in that area could recommend a casino...would like to visit and do some blackjack :) (and need some good cheese)

Hopefully I can meet some of this group at Red Power.

Howdy! Love good cheese and red tractors, but sure not making it up your way. Regardless, if I may slightly hijack your thread, and perhaps reflect sentiments of your own:

Crazy weather and many projects = little YT time; however don't be shy to email me if there is a question or thread that may warrent my [strange and untested] input.

The crew from Ask Cowman is going to rebuild and restore a F-20 from start to finish during the 3 day RPRU show.

i was just wondering about engine o/h. say if head needs guides and seats are these installed on site or is a machine shop waiting in town? what if head is cracked or block.or do you have a rebuilt head ready to go on? just wondering about worst case senarios. what if crank needs turning?three days goes by fast.good luck.
 
This is absolutely wonderful...I hope that I get there in time to see and participate in the engine overhaul. I got one torn down now and need to see the experts at work.

We will grind the valves and put in new guides and seats on site.

We are hoping the crank is ok.

But for unseen cracks and major problems we will have a rebuilt engine on site.
