W-30 radiator question

My friend is replacing the core in his 1935 W-30. The core he had made 10 years ago and he is just now putting it in. He bought gaskets and other parts for it from two different companies. All the gaskets he received were 2 inches too small. He ordered them from two companies same problem.
His core is 24 inches wide. Is it possible his radiator is off another tractor? The tank says McCormick Deering (cast into it). Does the F30 share the same radiator dimensions? For the companies he bought the gaskets from said they were.
However if they are not that could be the issue.

I am a Cockshutt guy so these Deerings are new to me. Thanks.

are you sure they made him the right core? but anyway i made my own gskts, and no problem.

The width of an F30 rad core is 20 and 1/2 in. wide.
I would call Darrell Alderson at 641 624-2275. He should be able to help you.

We got it all back together today. They made the core off the old core so it was the same. Just seems rather wide for the tractor. Seems to me the hood has been altered for it also.

the w-30 radiators set on brackets so it is wider than the tractor frame.
