Sir,

I am looking for a repair manual of an old "caterpillar tractor" (or crawler tractor ?) that a friend of mine bought in 1982
(sorry if the the translation isn't good but I'm french and I'm not comfortable with english technical words !)

I read on a label inside the tractor the following inscription :

model 82 Serie : INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER

INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER

Could you help me and give me a address I can come into contact with to continue my researches ?

After International fell apart, Dresser made the TD-8. Then Kamatsu picked it up and made it in Poland and I think it was the model 39 crawler.
 
If it was new in 82 I think it would be a series E.

komatsu built the IH dozers as Dresser and re-badged them as Komatsu. They renamed Dresser Dressta and they are still available, they just recently updated them from the H to the M series, about the same time they announced that they were in the process of spinning dresser off into its own company again. The komatsu, once they moved to hydrostatic transmissions, became a whole different machine.
