Auuxiliary control valve on 856

I am working on a 856 IH auxiliary valve, because it is leaking at the cap. It is the O ring on the unlatching piston. But I can not get the the sleeve loose, from the valve body. Can you heat the sleeve to make come loose? I put it in a vise and had a pipewrenck on it. Can someone help me with valve.

On some valves the large sleeve is made of "pot medal", so heat may not work well and of course heating any hydraulic valve you may have to allow it to cool again before you complete disassemby as the spool will expand more than body and might score being pulled out. Don't have a good answer for you.
