544 water pump

I just installed a new radiator and filled it up. I noticed a steady dripping coming from appears to be the front of the water pump around the shaft on the fan side, at least thats where it appears to be coming from (hard to really see in there). Any idea how much a replacement water pump is and where you can get one? (dealer, auto parts store, etc)

FYI its a Farmall 544 Gas C200.

Try to find an OEM water pump, new or remanufactured. I bought a new aftermarket water pump from A&I and had to grind away a lot of cast iron to make it fit. The bearing didn"t seem as tight as I would like either. Most aftermarket parts now come from China and are a very poor fit. I would pay three times as much for an OEM part any day. It"s worth it in the long run. I also had problems with an A&I radiator in my 544. If I had it to do over I would have had my old radiator re-cored, even though it would have cost more than the new one.
