rear axle seal leak on B414

I have a pretty original B414 that sat for some years. It now has oil leaking out of the rear left axle and down the rim. Is there an easy fix to this problem? Still runs great, but I don't want to lose a bearing or a gear over this.

Thanks

Ron

Hi Ron and Jim, to replace the leaking seal jack the tractor up and remove the wheel. Remove the hydraulic lift unit from the transmission and remove the stud in the end of the axle shaft. You then take out the 4 bolts holding the seal housing on the end of the axle then hit the back side of the wheel flange and the axleshaft will come out. You then pull the bearing of the shaft to get to the seal housing pull the housing of the shaft and replace the oil and felt seals. Hope you have been able to follow me. MJ
