H hydraulic problems

Hello I have a H that has had a loader on it for years and has always worked. Until now, i went to pick up a bale and it picked it up fine then when i went to lower it the loader wouldnt go down i haven"t ever worked on one of these because it has always worked. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

The answer depends on the type of system your tractor has. It is eather a belly pump (Clutch must be engaged to lift) or a live pump (Clutch can be pushed in and it still lifts) explaining could cause issues if the load is still up. Is there a rod on the right side going to a valve? Let us know. JimN

Yes it does have a belly pump in it and the only thing that i found when i took it apart that the latch assembly was not holding it in the center. I going to put it back in this week but the only thing that i can think of is if the quick coupler on the line is causing the problem.

The coupler can act like a one way valve! Be careful if it is still up, Block it, or jack it so pressure is off befor messing with it. JimN
