Super M slow 1st gear

I have found a Super M with the slow first gear.

Can I replace my 3rd, 4th, or 5th gear with this gear? I would like to keep my regular 1st and 2nd gear.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not without a lot of machine work and I'm not sure it could even be done then. The low low first driving gear on the lower shaft is machined as part of the shaft, because the gear is too small to be bored and keyed on the shaft. The bottom shaft is machined at different diameter for each gear, so all the gear bores are different. There are a lot of parts to change in the transmission just to get the low low gear. Bottom shaft, The first and reverse sliding gear, the 2nd speed driving gear(since on the standard transmission, the 1/2nd driving gear are made as one piece), and the reverse idler gear, as well as several bushings.

If your question is can you take the third, fourth and fifth speed gears out of the transmission with the slow first gear and put them in yours? The second and third sliding gear along with fourth and fifth sliding gear will work. Third and fourth driving gears on counter shaft will work. Input shaft that has the teeth that 4 and 5 sliding gear locks on for fifth will work. So if your first and second drive gear along with first and reverse slider is good, the answer is yes.
If above is not the question, forget this post.

No it will not if you want to change speeds you will have to get new ones made and they will make anything you can afford 1st gear is for 1st gear and not any other gear. Better go to a machine shop that majes gears and tell them what you want. Do you need the adress of a place that will make em for ya get money ready. They make gears for the pullers so the gears would be strong enough for anything you will ever do.
