Beautiful resto! Your grandson will always remember this.

Not to detract from your excellent project but I would caution against using those lifting eyes to tie the tractor down. Any side-loading of the eyebolt is a guaranteed way to fail it at a load far less than the actual axial rating.

While not exactly beautiful, a hoist ring like this one would be a better choice IMHO.

Yeah, that green thing and that blue thing with the helmet in the "finished" picture.... what's up with that?

Yep, very very nice. I, too, would like to know what kind of paint you used. Looks a bit darker than IH 2150, and better.
