What are the recommended sparkplugs for an M that's been converted to 12 volts?

The same spark plugs as you would use if it was still six volts.

Here are a few plugs you can use:

Champion D18Y (my preference)
Autolite 386, 388 or 3116

Spark plugs don't care one hoot about 6 or 12 volts as they are designed to handle 50,000+ volts, so just buy whatever the book says or your preference is and you are good to go.

I use Champion D18Y's, D16's or when I can get them D21's. But I strictly pull with mine.

Don't reply if you just want to start a plug war. I put both plugs as an option in my post. Let him try them both and let him see what he thinks. Don't call them junk.

Oh, yeah? Gee, I'll have to tell all my tractors that. They think they're great. Haven't had to change plugs in 3-4 years....
