loader bucket looses pressure

I have an IH 300 utility. The loader bucket tilts forward while I am using the tractor. I replaced the loader controls and flushed the system and put in new oil. This didn't make any difference. The bucket tips down (forward) easily from gravity. I can press downward with my hands on the bucket - with the tractor running - and tilt the bucket.

The cylinder is leaking internally form one end to the other If it is a reparable cylinder, it will be minor cost. If you need to be certain, put it on a block with the bucket tipped back some. Put a brick under the front of the bucket so it remains up. Disconnect the hoses, and cap them then pull the brick out. If it still drops (and I think it will) that is your problem. JimN

Thanks, I will try that. Also, there are reparable cylinders.
