Hi Guys,

I have searched the archives and now know the shifter tip needs to be built up/repaired. What are the actual dimensions of the tip supposed to be. Surely their must be a diagrahm somewhere that I can print out and take to the machine shop.

Thanks for your help

I don't know the dimensions, but if you look at the shift rails you can determine a working size that will work.

Might want to examine the rest of the parts to the shift lever and pivot. Most all H's etc, the hole where pin goes into housing and pins them self are loose and allow way too much up and down, and side to side movement of shift lever. I have my own way of doing this and I am sure others have their ways. Finding the right size bushing stock is the most difficult, and I do no drilling or reaming of original casting so it does not destroy integrity of any part.
