B414 change to 2-way hydraulic loader

I have a B414 in good shape ser #22376. Factory power steering, remote and 3 pt hitch. It has a dual stage pump, and I want to convert the McCormick trip bucket loader to a 2 valve 2-way system. If anyone has done this, I sure would like to know how to get a constant pressure feed and still have a useable 3 point hitch without turning knos and taps.
Thanks
Ron

Hi, cut the pipe that go from the pump, hitch one, weld a fitting at the cut end, run a hose, from the fitting, to the IN of the loader valve. On the pipe, that go in the hitch valve, weld a fitting too, run a hose from the OUT of the loader valve, to the fitting weld on the pipe to the hitch. The best place to cut, is under the fuel tank. Now you can run the loader and the hitch without turning knobs. Bernard le mecano Quebec Canada

I have power steering on the tractor. Would this affect my power steering, I have a 2stage pump, one for the power steering, and one for the main hydraulic system, would this still work?

Thanks

Ron

hi Ron, Bernard has it correct and will not interfere with PS. The 434 and 384 (same as B414) that we had a 1500 series loader installed also had an additional hydraulic dump line that was plumbed from the bottom of the control valves into the filler hole at the back of the seat with low pressure hose a regular pipe T into the filler hole and the filler plug installed on top of T. If you want both up and down pressure on your loader you will also have to change the hydraulic cylinders to the double acting type.

Hi, cut only the pipe that feed the hitch system. The steering in on another circuit. Your steering will work like a charm. Bernard le mecano Quebec Canada
