I pulled the drum off to change the brake and everything is oil soaked........Should I replace the seal that is behind the brake?....I"d hate to put my new brake on there if it isnt going to work very good. Also how hard is it to change...........Thanks

And also is there anywhere online to find one, im not having any luck so far and the local IH dealer sold out

Dealer should have no issue getting you a new seal within a day or two...

If you take the IH P/N for the seal to your NAPA dealer they MAY be able to get it...

Your friendly local bearing and seal supplier can cross the IHC number with a modern equivalent. (I've had excellent luck with Kaman: www.kamandirect.com). The seal will likely be in stock and the price will be fair.

Note! The replacement seal will likely be about 1/2 the thickness of the original. This is NOT a problem! Simply press the seal in flush with the housing - or a bit farther in if the shaft shows wear where the seal lip bears on it.

Remember unless you can "rig" you up a way to pull the old seal out, you have to remove the diffs. to get the seal out. I change a few by drilling a small hole on each side of the seal, and driving a screw in tothe seal casing and pulling it out little at a time with my big pliers.

Same here. I drilled 2 holes 180 degrees apart, screwed in 2 lag bolts, and used a small prybar to walk the seal out. Don't even try to pull the differential casting unless you have the bull gears off.
